Second chance romances are one of my favorite tropes, and Kylie Scott took this trope and added a cool twist that I have only ever encountered in one other story years ago. I found myself loving this story from the very beginning. And the man standing in front of me is the best of everything.

But not living your best life, not loving as hard as you can…what a terrible waste that would be. And of course I loved their love story! Yeap, I enjoyed this book so far! It’s impossible that nobody sensed something is wrong with this character!īut as a summary I loved hero and heroine! I love the way they’ve found each other by forgetting their pasts, getting mature and changed in good way to understand and respect each other. I cut the point because of the assailant of Clem because it was so predictable and reason beyond her actions are a little bit cheesy. Our hero Ed made me a little anxious at first by treating a little harsh to Clem, our straightforward, stubborn and brave heroine ( at least this is her definition after the amnesia) but as I caught glimpses about their past he seemed like patient, compassionate guy who also hurt a lot after the breakup which brought more sense to his actions!

I’m happy that I didn’t see her past version before the assault because I sense she has too many self respect, self confidence and too many versions problems starting with her self loathing! I never be a fan of doormat and crybaby kinda heroines!

It’s not only second chance love romance is also second chance to be wise, to believe in yourself and accept your flaws to make better choices novel! There was no long explanations or long emotional dilemmas! It started with first encounter our hero and heroine after their messy breakup! Our heroine Clementine ( yeap she is totally darling 😊)had amnesia which helped her starting over with her life and rethinking what she did wrong with her relationship. Well, I liked the blurb and story was just captured me at first pages. Four 1/4 I cannot believe but I finished this at one night / there’s nothing to binge at Netflix stars 😆
